PIZZA SNOB RATING   *** Better than Dominos

OK—here’s my last catch-up entry on changes I have recently come across in the world of pizza.

Back in Louisville for my annual trip to hear some great music at the Forecastle Festival, I noticed a vacant storefront on Baxter Road where Papalino’s Pizza once stood.

I’m not sure when the change occurred, but they now appear to be about 25 minutes across town tweaking their name to Papalino’s Italian Pub. I don’t know how much of a facelift they may have undergone with the move, but it looks to be a little swankier than it was before.

Papalino’s slice wasn’t too bad for a town that seems to struggle to make a good one. The Snob will try to check out the new site later this year.
