As possibly America’s most favorite food, it’s no surprise that there have been many great pizza moments on the silver screen. Here are some of the Snob’s favorites from some classic comedies:
Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982)
Who can forget this classic scene where surfer dude Jeff Spicoli (Sean Penn) orders a double-cheese and sausage pie to be delivered to Mr. Hand’s (Ray Walston) American History class. I wonder how many times this stunt was been mimicked in real life – The Kid pulled this prank in his high school days.

Stripes (1981)
How about the opening scene where actor Bill Murray’s bad day gets even worse when he drops his take-home pie on the ground after seeing his car get repossessed and then tries to serve the resurrected dirty pie to his soon-to-be ex-girlfriend.

Back to the Future Part II (1989)
Watch the future McFly family cook a pizza in just seconds with their Black & Decker Hydrator and hear one of the three Michael J. Fox characters in the scene say “Mom, you sure can hydrate a pizza.” Also notice the sly Pizza Hut product placement on the wrapper of the pre-hydrated pie.

Rock ‘n’ Roll High School (1979)
Here are The Ramones getting a backstage order of pies. Their manager says, “No pizza for you, Joey,” shoving a handful of wheat germ and riboflavin into Joey Ramone’s mouth. Meanwhile, number one fan, Riff Randall (P.J. Soles), takes a piece from Dee Dee Ramone to cherish it as a “slice” of rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia.
